Glacier National Park

As the name suggests, Glacier National Park in Montana is famed for its stunning glacial peaks. Running along the Canadian border, in the northwest corner of the state, the park boasts over 700 miles of hiking trails with routes that offer adventure to everyone from novices to experienced hikers. The routes themselves weave through alpine meadows, pristine forest, spectacular lakes and rugged mountainous terrain. The park is truly one of America’s most beautiful locations;  known as the Crown of the Continent, Glacier National Park has more than 1 million acres of glacial-carved terrain, cascading waterfalls, striking rock faces, teal-colored streams and lakes, mountain goats and bighorn sheep.

The iconic Going-to-the-Sun Road is a “must-do” too. A national historic landmark, this 50-mile-long road was designed to blend into its mountain setting through the heart of the park. Logan Pass at 6,646 feet is the highest point on Going-to-the Sun Road where it crests the Continental Divide.
