Little St Simons is a very special place founded on the principles of preserving the environment. This eco-resort occupies its own private island with over 11,000 acres of wilderness (all of which is preserved Nature Conservancy) and no less than 7 miles of pristine beaches. Only accessible by boat, there is room for just 32 guests making it perfect for either a large multi-generational family holiday, a wedding party or a romantic retreat for two as you can reserve a single room, a four bedroom cottage or the entire island.
Little St. Simon prides itself on its eco credentials and expects its guests to share its code. Your food is grown or caught locally, energy usage is carefully controlled with solar and geothermal climate control and assiduous recycling. All this is reflected in the activities on the island. It is a paradise for nature lovers with a host of naturalist-led programmes including birding, boating, canoeing, hiking, bicycling, beach combing and fishing.
Little St Simons is an all-inclusive resort so your costs include boat transfers to and from the island, three meals daily, drinks including soft drinks, beer and wine, all activities including Naturalist led excursions and use of all recreation equipment.
