Little St Simons is a very special place founded on the principles of preserving the environment. This eco-resort occupies its own private island with over 11,000 acres of wilderness (all of which is preserved Nature Conservancy) and no less than 7 miles of pristine beaches. Only accessible by boat, there is room for just 32 guests making it perfect for either a large multi-generational family holiday, a wedding party or a romantic retreat for two as you can reserve a single room, a four bedroom cottage or the entire island.
Little St. Simon prides itself on its eco credentials and expects its guests to share its code. Your food is grown or caught locally, energy usage is carefully controlled with solar and geothermal climate control and assiduous recycling. All this is reflected in the activities on the island. It is a paradise for nature lovers with a host of naturalist-led programmes including birding, boating, canoeing, hiking, bicycling, beach combing and fishing.
Little St Simons is an all-inclusive resort so your costs include boat transfers to and from the island, three meals daily, drinks including soft drinks, beer and wine, all activities including Naturalist led excursions and use of all recreation equipment.
Accommodation consists of 2 double rooms in the main lodge building which is at the heart of the resort or in one of the 6 cottages which vary in size from one to four bedroom.
Cedar House & River Lodge Rooms
The River Lodge and Cedar House sit on the river bank, a short stroll from the main Lodge. Both have four spacious bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. All the bedrooms (each sleeping 2) have sliding doors that open onto large, wrap-around decks with beautiful marsh and river views. At the centre of both houses are shared great rooms with a soaring tabby fireplace, wet bar, ice maker, fridge and a large screen porch with comfy daybed and rocking chairs.

J Smith - Travelled New York to Toronto
I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette. I would recommend you to anyone with the satisfaction of knowing that you did an amazing job. Thank you.
