Jared Coffin House is an historic inn in downtown Nantucket, built in 1845 by wealthy ship owner Jared Coffin and restored in the 1960s by the Nantucket Historical Trust.

A traditional brick, three storey building, Jared Coffin House is a Nantucket landmark and offers guests a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by plush, rich furnishings. A complimentary breakfast is served every morning as well as coffee, juice and cookes in the afternoon, and the onsite restaurant, Nantucket Prime, is a sophisticated steakhouse serving dry-aged and wet-aged steaks sourced from local farms, as well as the freshest fish. Guests can spend the day shopping in the nearby boutiques, seeing the sights or simply lounging on the beach. The Inn has an elegant Library which is perfect for relaxing in, a lovely garden just over the road and Jared Coffin guests have access to the spa at its sister property The White Elephant, just a short walk away.

Rooms

Full Size and Queen Sized Rooms – A full size double bed or queen bed, private bath and air conditioning. Situated in the Main House.

Superior Twin and Superior Queen Rooms – These rooms are in the Daniel Webster House and feature air conditioning and private baths.

Deluxe King Room – A king sized bed, top quality furnishings, and a private bath in the Main House.

King Family Room – A spacious room with a king bed and a sofa bed in the Main House.

King Corner Room – A large room with king bed, private bath situated in the Main House.

I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette.
