The Argonaut Hotel in San Francisco is in an excellent location in Fishermans Wharf. Its a boutique hotel, part of the Noble House group, and designed around a stylish nautical theme. There is a working astronomer’s clock above the lobby fireplace, the front desk is inspired by a vintage steamer trunk and the exposed brick walls and rough-hewn wooden plank floors give a glimpse of the buildings history. There are plenty of eating and drinking options in the local area but you should try the Argonaut’s very own award winning Blue Mermaid Chowder House with fresh seafood and superb chowders.
