Willows Lodge is located on five beautifully landscaped acres in the heart of Woodinville Wine Country, just 25 minutes east of Seattle. The property is surrounded by more than 90 wineries and tasting rooms, including two of Washingtonā€™s largest, Chateau Ste. Michelle and Columbia Wineries. Willows Lodge sits adjacent to Redhook Brewery and the Sammamish River Trail, which provides access to plenty of outdoor activities, including biking, kayaking and hiking. It is also within easy access of several area golf courses, Marymoor Park, shopping centres in nearby Redmond and Bellevue, as well as Eastside businesses, such as Microsoft, Nintendo, and Google.

Willows Lodge features the Barking Frog, one of the most highly regarded restaurants in the Northwest as well as the Herbfarm, the only 5* restaurant in Washington and for which you need make reservations well in advance. As you would expect in this region, the Fireside bar has an extensive wine list of both local and foreign wines; Happy Hour (Monday to Friday) is always popular! The hotel also has a large spa with steam room, outdoor hydro-therapy pool, relaxation room and six treatment rooms, including a cosy Coupleā€™s Massage room.

Willows Lodge offers its pedi-cab service for hotel guests taking them to neighbouring tasting rooms and other local attractions that are within a reasonably ā€œpeddlableā€ distance. They also offer guided tours of Woodinville Wine Country aboard its Mercedes Sprinter Van.

Rooms

Each of the 84 spacious guest rooms and suites combine a rustic elegance with luxury amenities such outsize baths with sliding screens that open onto the room and fireplace, a separate, spacious tiled shower, and toiletries by Molton Brown, a fireplace, luxurious linens, complimentary Wifi, bathrobes and slippers. Rooms have either one king size or 2 queen beds, a private patio or balcony many with views of the surrounding gardens.

New York to Toronto – 2015 (Smith)

I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went.
