The Porches Inn was inspired by MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) which is an array of galleries and performance space located in a 19th Century mill, in North Adams.
North Adams is a small and charming city with a strong modern art identity, boasting a host of art and crafts galleries and shops, boutiques and restaurants. The Inn itself is sited in a row of formerly delapidated mill workers cottages that have been superbly renovated with long verandas, bold decor and an aesthetic that is contemporary and edgy, but also has a vintage vibe to pay homage to the mill workers that used to live there. Being in such an arty city, and located just across the road from MASS MoCA, it is not surprising that Porches has its own art installations and an artist-in-residence. In addition to the art, inn amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness room, sauna, hot tub, native woodland garden, woodland gazebo and bonfire pit. A complimentary continental breakfast is served every morning, either in the breakfast room or delivered to guestrooms.
Deluxe Standard – A spacious and colourful room with either a king or queen bed, and a slate floored bathroom. Standard rooms with a private porch are available.
Deluxe Standard Double Bed – A bright and airy room with two queen beds, slate floored bathroom with a clawed foot bath, and separate shower.
One Bedroom Suite – Each suite has a bedroom with a queen bed and a separate living room which has a sofa bed. The bathroom features a Jacuzzi tub.
Two Bedroom Suite – A two storey guest area with a queen sized bedroom, living room with sofa bed and bathroom on the ground floor and a second bedroom and bathroom in the loft area, accessed by a spiral staircase.

J Smith - Travelled New York to Toronto
I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette. I would recommend you to anyone with the satisfaction of knowing that you did an amazing job. Thank you.
