The Colonial Inn is situated in the heart of Ogunquit and is the last of the grand Victorian hotels in the village.
Built in 1887, The Colonial has been recently refurbished and although it still retains its old fashioned charm, it offers guests all the modern amenities that ensure a comfortable stay. Just a short walk away from beautiful Maine beaches and downtown Ogunquit, there is also a trolley stop outside the property so guests can leave their cars at the Inn when out exploring. On the return to the Inn there are many amenities to keep guests entertained, and places to relax. Enjoy the outdoor pool with hot tub, recreation room with games and movies, landscaped garden and large wrap-around-porch, perfect for lazy afternoons. Bar service is available in all common areas and a hosted wine hour takes place every evening. A continental breakfast is also complimentary for all guests.
Guestrooms are spread throughout four areas of the property, offering a variety of configurations.
The Main Inn – Located on four floors of the original Inn, all rooms have been recently renovated and largely offer views of the grounds or Shore Road, however ten look out over the ocean. All rooms have a king bed and range from Traditional King, to Deluxe King with a more updated bathroom, larger Superior and Ocean View Superior rooms, and Premium View Superior King, the largest of the Main Inn rooms.
The East Building – Adjacent from the Main Inn, The East Building houses The Colonial Inn’s twenty two suites. These spacious suites have two queen beds, a mini refrigerator and microwave, and many have a balcony or patio. Also available are Extended East Building suites which have no balcony, but do have space for a pull out sofa for larger groups.
The Garden Building – There are eight rooms in this wing each featuring a queen or king bed, a small sitting area and an updated bathroom. There is a mini refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker, as well as a shared balcony or patio.
The Guest House – Located next to the pool, the Guest House is a lovely summer cottage with four rooms with capacities for two to five people.

J Smith - Travelled New York to Toronto
I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette. I would recommend you to anyone with the satisfaction of knowing that you did an amazing job. Thank you.
