Sundance Mountain Resort was founded in 1969 by Robert Redford, Conde Nast Traveler and Travel and Leisure magazines have listed it among the top resorts in the world. With its intimate and elegantly rustic suites and cottages, sundance offers a quiet and relaxing escape.

The resort is nestled within 5,000 picturesque acres of wilderness and is the perfect place experience a wide range of activities – from exploring the arts to hiking, biking and fly fishing (and skiing in the winter). A superb spa and award-winning dining round out the “Sundance Experience.”

Rooms

The rooms are located within three main settings –

MANDAN – Cozy and rustic, these mountain-view rooms are located near the Spa at Sundance and just a short walk from the base of the Village.
RIVER RUN – Featuring larger living areas and gas fireplaces, these riverside condo-style rooms follow a stream down the mountain into the Village.
PINES – These Mountain Suites feature large modern bathrooms with jetted tubs and walk-in showers.

Standard Room – located in the Mandan setting standard rooms are the most basic room type featuring a bedroom and a bathroom – perfect for a quick overnight stay, or those who will be spending most of their time at Sundance enjoying the many activities or up on the mountain.

Studio Room – these provide a little more living space for guests looking for a special touch of romance in their stay with a fireplace and deck or patio. Located in the Mandan setting

Sundance Suite – perfect for a romantic getaway or a little more room for an extra guest or an extended stay. Kitchenettes are available in these units. Located in the Mandan and River Run settings.

Mountain Suite – these suites provide plenty of extra room, with full-size kitchens, private master bedrooms and living rooms. Located in all areas.

New York to Toronto – 2015 (Smith)

I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette.
