There are many on-site amenities for guests to enjoy including a fully equipped fitness centre and an outdoor hot tub and heated pool. Guests can shop for local treats at the gift and sundry boutique or dine at Jimmy’s Restaurant that offers regional wood-fired seafood as well as a fabulous array of cocktails. The full-service spa is tranquillity at its finest and features a sauna, steam room and relaxing showers. Other guest services include valet parking, storage facilities and complimentary transportation to the village.

Rooms

Every resort guest room has a working stone gas fireplace and many of them afford spectacular views of Lake Tahoe. In-room dining is available for guests, as is high-speed Internet access. Guests can choose from either a King or a Double Queen room that can accommodate up to four people. There are a select number of suites that have two rooms and some that have more than one bedroom as well as a personal kitchen. For all rooms guests can choose between a lake or a garden view. Bathrooms are marble topped with heated floors and heated toilet seats, and garnished with premium bath products. Every room has a wall mounted HDTV and an in-room mini fridge. Select rooms also have balconies that overlook either the lake or the garden.

New York to Toronto – 2015 (Smith)

I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went.
