Las Vegas has undergone something of an evolution in the last 20 years. It has always been known for its casinos and slot machines but now the city has blossomed into the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’ – a glittering wonderland where you can watch globally renowned shows – from the grand acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil to performances by big music acts (stars such as Lady Gaga, Janet Jackson, Aerosmith, Celine Dion and Rod Stewart have all played in Vegas).
Like everything in Vegas it seems, the choice of restaurants is immense. For those who want to linger over dinner or a decadent lunch, Las Vegas is home to many restaurants affiliated to some of the world’s top chefs. Gordon Ramsay, Wolfgang Puck, Giada De Laurentiis, Bobby Flay, Guy Savoy, Nobu Matsuhisa, to name but a few, all have flagship restaurants in Las Vegas. There are also restaurants, large and small, with cuisines from all over the world, but if all you want is a snack or good old-fashioned American burger, Vegas will provide.
Shopping? Of course! there are enough shops to satisfy the keenest shopaholic as well as diverse activities such as big sporting events, like NASCAR and the National Finals Rodeo. Cultural events include ballet and concerts in the Smith Center for Performing Arts, the home of the Las Vegas Philharmonic orchestra, in its dramatic Neo Art Deco building built in 2012.
Other splendid Las Vegas institutions well worth your time include the Contemporary Arts Center, which has a striking array of modern artworks and avant-garde exhibits. The Neon Museum, where the core collection is a line-up of defunct retro neon signs from hotels that once flanked the Strip. The Mob Museum in Downtown Las Vegas offers a bold and authentic view of organized crime from vintage Las Vegas and beyond. In short: you will not be bored in Las Vegas.

J Smith - Travelled New York to Toronto
I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette. I would recommend you to anyone with the satisfaction of knowing that you did an amazing job. Thank you.
