Nantucket has been named a National Historic District and has architecturally changed little since the 17th century, as seaside cottages and old-fashioned lamps still line its streets. It is one of the most unique, historic and visually stunning places in the northeast U.S.
The White Elephant is just across the road from the boat harbour and a very short walk from the many boutiques, galleries and restaurants of Nantucket.
