Classic cities of the South | Fly Drive Holiday

Holiday Duration: 9 Nights

Frontier’s Personal Experience

“This is a really educational and enjoyable trip! Atlanta is an easy city to walk around; whilst you are here visit the Coca Cola Museum, CNN to watch a news cast and the Atlanta Aquarium all of which are 5 – 10 minutes walk from one another. The Martin Luther King walking tour was fascinating and a must, if you have the time there is a full days tour which include the museums and the civil right trails. Charleston was another surprising city, much quieter and refined with fabulous buildings and a calmness about it. The Middleton Plantation was a real learning curve and dining on Shrimp and Grits was something else. I can’t wait to return here soon!”

Classic Cities of the South

Classic Cities of the South

Atlanta / Savannah / Charleston

Three of the classic cities in the South are the backbone of this lovely fly-drive holiday, meandering through Civil War history, glorious antebellum homes and majestic rivers – all the while eating delicious southern food. The holiday can be driven in either direction, but we suggest starting in Atlanta so that you can add on some beach time in the Golden Isles or Hilton Head at the end if you wish.

This itinerary is flexible and can be tailor-made to suit you; if you want to add extra days in one area, extend the holiday or maybe change the direction of travel. Talk to one of our experts about how to make this holiday the perfect one for you.

New York to Toronto – 2015 (Smith)

I have just returned from a tailor made holiday made possible by Jeannette Dembrey. This was the first time I had ever organised such a major holiday and as it was a gift for my children after my retirement it was really important to get things right. I went to quite a few agencies but Jeannette was way better than any of the people who I spoke to. She was so professional and wanted me to get the best from the money I could afford. The holiday was absolutely amazing and everything went like clockwork. Jeannette had thought of everything even the connections between places and the things we would do in each town. We stayed in 6 hotels altogether starting in New York and ending in Toronto. I am amazed at how smoothly it went. Even my son who has travelled all over the world was impressed with the way things had been organised. I cannot praise Jeannette enough for her professionalism. Thank you Jeannette. I would recommend you to anyone with the satisfaction of knowing that you did an amazing job. Thank you.
