Greater Seattle

Explore Greater Seattle:

The city of Seattle is gateway to the Pacific Northwest and while the city is a must-visit, there is much to explore on its outskirts, not least the mountain ranges that dominate the skyline. The Cascade Mountain Range gives the state two distinct environments and climates and is the main reason why Washington State has such incredibly diverse scenery.

Two national parks lie within the mountain range, with the North Cascades National Park to the north, and a short drive southeast of the city is Mount Rainier National Park, home to the majestic mountain and the park offers excellent opportunities for scenic drives, hiking and mountain climbing.

The Mount Baker Snoqualmie National Forest lies beneath the North Cascades National Park and Snoqualmie Falls, where the irreverent Twin Peaks tv series was set, and just a short drive from the city.

Everything went to plan. The car was excellent, we had no problems with the ferry bookings or the hotel reservations and the information we received was all accurate. We appreciated the very convenient seats that were reserved for us on the flights. Overall, an excellent holiday experience, you did an excellent job in putting it all together for us and in responding to my many queries
