The Mark is housed, as it has always been, in the beautiful 1927 landmark building at the corner of 77th Street and Madison Avenue steps away from Central Park and close to many of New York’s finest art institutions.

Inside, the Mark has been given a new life and identity for the 21st century. Rooms

The 150 guestrooms and suites feature custom-made beds, fine Italian linens and bedding by Quagliotti plush velvet sofas, black and white marble bathrooms, sub-zero refrigerators, swish art deco touches and Bang & Olufsen HD televisions. a Crestron panel that controls temperature, entertainment, shades and lighting with a single touch. The black-and-white marble bath features double wash basins, a deep-soaking tub and separate glass shower enclosure, both with polished nickel fittings by Lefroy Brooks, the renowned British maker. Other luxury touches include heated towel racks, a mirrored flat-screen television, separate telephone, and fine Italian toiletries formulated exclusively for The Mark. The studios and suites have custom kitchens, specially designed by Piero Lissoni for Boffi, feature custom cabinetry, black granite countertops and appliances from Gaggenau, Miele and Sub-Zero. Additional amenities include a sleek black-granite bar with SubZero drawers, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and local calls, daily shoeshine and morning delivery of New York Times or Wall Street Journal.

Courtyard View – 400 square feet of luxury with either a king or a queen sized bed with townhouse garden views.

Madison Rooms – These rooms are similar to the Courtyard rooms but have a small foyer and views over Madison Avenue.

Mark Studio – On the higher floors, looking down Madison Avenue and slightly larger than the bedrooms, the studios have a kitchen.

One Bedroom Suites – These lovely suites are 500-530 square feet and have city views looking down 77th Street as well as a separate sitting room.
